Lyrics seeming to exalt cocaine in a new song by French first lady Carla Bruni drew a protest Thursday from Colombia’s foreign affairs minister.
Colombia’s foreign minister says a new song by the wife of the French president is “very painful for Colombia”.
“My mind is telling me no but my body, my body’s telling me yes I (baby) don’t want to hurt nobody But there is something that I must confess (Chorus) I don’t see nothing wrong with a little bump and grind.” — Lyrics to Bump ‘N’ Grind
Though some French critics are raving about former model and singer Carla Bruni-Sarkozy’s new album, Colombia’s foreign minister is giving one song by the French first lady in particular a thumbs down.
London, June 12 : A former friend of late Beatles legend John Lennon is set to make a fortune by selling the singer’s handwritten lyrics to the anti-war anthem “Give Peace a Chance” for up to 300,000 pounds.
French first lady Carla Bruni’s new song has left Colombia’s leaders furious.
